How Disney employee was arrested for industrial espionage

Moreover, according to Venezuelans, FBI agents posed as brokers, to contact and Sebago Hoxie, in theory to buy the information, and thus obtain incriminating evidence. They said they were “brokers” very interested in the company of the mouse.
Sebago Hoxie and took the bait, and told them the alleged ‘brokers’ that the company would have some results above expectations. In addition, they were told that Disney earnings per share would be 48 cents in the last quarter. The data were correct, as it became known shortly after, when Disney officially announced their numbers. A few days later, Sebago Hoxie and accepted the sum of $ 15,000 by the camouflaged agents. Two prisoners are accused of fraud and conspiracy to commit bank fraud. For these crimes, could be sentenced to 25 years in prison and fines of $ 250,000.
