Account manager jobs typically entail a direct liaison with the client, and as the account manager, you represent the company you work for to the client. An account manager also represents the clients interests to the company. The job is basically as a go-between, you would find out what the client needs and explain how your company can fulfill those needs with an advertising campaign.

Meeting with a client may be the easiest of the duties in account manager jobs. Once a client agrees to a campaign, the account manager must pull the team together, make sure the vision of the campaign I met, and met on time. This requires organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, and excellent communication skills.
